Brilliant's parents were poisoned by someone who wanted their land. The village people stood by the sibling group protecting their property. She lives with her older brother who is only 17 and can barely support himself let alone his 3 siblings. Kevin, Violet and Brilliant come to the orphanage for food periodically.
