Sierra Leone and Liberia

WEO believes that Churches are fundamental to helping spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. As such, we want to promote church building projects for the pastors who are able and willing to answer God's call, sometimes needing to leave their familiar locality and venture into new areas to start and grow new congregations.

Additionally, the severe hot climate of West Africa along with a season of torrential rains, causes buildings to deteriorate quickly. WEO seeks to establish funds that will provide the level of periodic maintenance that is required to keep God's infrastructure in good operating order.

Recent Church Projects

Makeni

Although quite modest in appearance, this structure located in Makeni, Sierra Leone, was erected for $1,200 USD, complete with electricity and chairs for 70 individuals. Within 6 months, Pastor Sesay called to let us know that his modest church had grown to over 100 congregants.

...So once again, we are in the process of raising additional funds to expand and improve this church building and site. Please keep this in prayer.

Recently completed is this beautiful structure located in Saclepea, Liberia that seats over 200 for church services.

Proud to say, that this structure was paid for largely by the funds generated from local donations.
