Sembehun High School

Located in Sembehun, Sierra Leone

In Sembehun, there is no Christian High School for students to attend. WEO strongly believes in capturing the heart of a young child so that they have the best chance of being raised in a godly scholastic environment and for the love of Jesus to take a firm hold in these children. WEO has seen remarkable changes in neighborhoods, towns and regions resulting from the principles that Jesus brings into the lives of these children.

Sembehun HS Current Progress

Funds for Sembehun HS are being sought. The school is estimated to cost $69,000.

With the funds that have come in so far, WEO has been able to complete construction of the outdoor toilet facility that both students of SHS and the adjacent WEO church use.

From January through February 2023, the building team molded the cement blocks that are being used for construction of the school building.

In late November and December 2023, workers began to construct the walls of the various classrooms.

In 2025 and early 2026, additional funds were sent to complete construction of the walls.
