Violet's parents were poisoned by someone who wanted their land. The village people stood by the sibling group protecting them and their property. She lives with her older brother who is only 17 and can barely support himself let alone his 3 siblings. Violet, Kevin and Brilliant come to the orphanage for food periodically otherwise they seek odd jobs from the neighborhood for food.
