After a long and eventful journey into Monrovia, today brought another reminder that mission work often requires patience, flexibility, and trusting God’s timing.
While waiting for transportation that will carry the team onward to Saclepea, there was still meaningful work to be done.
The team gathered at Chicken Soup Factory for a special moment as additional blocks were placed to continue building the church walls. Though simple, the gathering served as a powerful reminder that every block laid represents something far greater than construction; it represents hope, faith, and a place where lives will one day be impacted by the Gospel.
Even during delays and unexpected schedule changes, God continues opening opportunities to serve, encourage, and build.
While continuing ministry efforts at Chicken Soup Factory in Monrovia, the team also had the opportunity to attend an athletic competition taking place for the local school students.
It was a joyful reminder that ministry is not only about building structures, but also about investing in people, relationships, and community. Watching the students compete, encourage one another, and enjoy the event brought so much energy and excitement to the day.
Moments like these highlight the importance of creating environments where young people can grow, not only academically and spiritually, but socially and physically as well.
The atmosphere was filled with laughter, teamwork, and school spirit, and it was encouraging to see the students so engaged and enthusiastic.

Even amid travel delays and ongoing construction work, opportunities continue to arise to connect with the community and witness the impact being made through the ministry at Chicken Soup Factory.
There is something beautiful about watching ministry happen in real time; not always through large crowds or major events, but often through steady faithfulness in the small moments along the way.
As the team prepares for the next leg of the mission into Saclepea, prayers for safe travel, strength, and continued opportunities to share Christ are greatly appreciated.
The mission continues one step, one mile, and one block at a time.
