Makripodis College Update: Building for the Future in Sierra Leone

There is something powerful about watching a vision slowly become reality.

This week brought another incredible update from the ongoing work at Makripodis College in Sierra Leone. What was once only an idea and a prayer is continuing to take shape into a space that will impact generations through education, discipleship, and opportunity.

The progress on the facility has been amazing to see. From the large open gathering areas and classrooms to the finishing work taking place throughout the building, every step forward represents lives that will eventually be changed inside these walls.

One of the most encouraging parts of the journey is seeing people come together from different backgrounds and skillsets to serve side-by-side. Team members spent time cutting materials, installing components, preparing work areas, and helping move the project closer toward completion.

The structure itself is already beginning to showcase the vision behind the college. The large interior space, elevated stage area, and the cross displayed prominently inside the building all point toward the mission of combining education with faith and community impact.

This project is about far more than bricks and steel.

It is about creating a place where students can learn, grow, discover purpose, and encounter hope. It is about investing into future leaders who will one day impact their communities, families, churches, and nation.

As the work continues, we are grateful for every prayer, every helping hand, and every person supporting the vision behind Makripodis College. The foundation being built here is not only physical, it is spiritual and generational.
